I attended a session that Danielle did at the SoACE Annual Conference and after the session we swapped business cards. Upon following up with her via email after the conference she offered to do an informational interview with me about her work. She went above and beyond to give me information about her office and provide tips to me as a graduate student who is job searching. She told me that she would be glad to help me in any way she could and meant it. She is a true example of a leader in the career field based on this extremely meaningful interaction. Megan recently moved all student employment to our Jobs4Govs platform which as increased student usership. In addition, she has partnered with our Graduate Studies Office to move all Assistantship applications to Jobs4Govs. This work required countless hours of designing processes and checks/balances to ensure that all parties had access and approval when needed. Kudos to Megan on creating an electronic process for our graduates who are seeking assistantships at Austin Peay State University.
